Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account data: email address, name (if provided), and authentication details when you sign up.
• Marketplace connections: OAuth tokens and shop identifiers when you connect eBay, Etsy, Amazon, TikTok Shop, or other supported platforms. Tokens are stored server-side so we can act on your behalf only after you authorize.
• Listing content: product details, images, drafts, and related metadata you submit or generate in the product.
• Usage & technical data: basic logs such as IP address, device/browser type, and pages visited, used for security and reliability.

2. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve List Pilots
• Authenticate you and maintain your marketplace connections
• Generate listing drafts (including with AI providers you enable) and publish or sync products when you request it
• Provide customer support and respond to requests
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with law

3. AI processing

When you use AI-assisted drafting, relevant product details you provide may be sent to our AI service provider(s) (such as OpenAI) solely to generate listing content. Do not submit sensitive personal data you do not want processed for that purpose.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with:

• Infrastructure providers (e.g. Vercel for hosting, Supabase for auth/database)
• Marketplace platforms you connect (eBay, Etsy, Amazon, TikTok Shop, etc.) to perform the actions you authorize
• AI providers when you use drafting features
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

5. Storage & security

Data is processed and stored primarily in the United States using reputable cloud providers. We use HTTPS/TLS in transit and provider-managed encryption at rest where available. Marketplace tokens are stored server-side and access is limited to authorized operators on a least-privilege basis.

6. Retention & deletion

We retain account and connection data while your account is active. When you disconnect a marketplace, we delete or revoke stored tokens for that connection. When you close your account or request deletion at the end of our relationship, we delete collected customer data in our possession, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

7. Your choices & rights

You may access or update account details in Settings, disconnect marketplaces at any time, and request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting us. We will assist sellers and marketplace partners with lawful data access, update, or deletion requests related to data we process for List Pilots.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies/sessions for authentication and security. We do not use advertising cookies as a core part of the product.

9. Children

List Pilots is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Security incidents

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will investigate, take remedial steps (including rotating credentials where appropriate), and notify affected users and relevant partners (including marketplace platforms when required) without undue delay.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of List Pilots after an update means you accept the revised policy.
